The past few weeks have been really busy and i’ve found it hard to find the time to blog. The light in the afternoon at the moment is amazing, between 3-5pm it’s near perfect. The next few weeks see more weddings, a commercial job and various other things.
Every now and then I like to take time to just shoot what’s immediately around me, breathe and listen.

I recently had a shoot with a family friend and I had very mixed emotions, she is very sick but the family had insisted on having some special memories of their beloved. The shoot went really well and I managed to put aside my feelings and get on with the job. To say the family were grateful is an understatement, there has been an enormous response. I am a little start struck as I wasn’t looking for praise but sometimes it’s just part of the job. Anyway I wanted to share some of the things people have been saying, it really is all about the photography and not me, I’m just the observer. Thanks to Pete and Robyn.
