The short nights are fading away, the light is lingering longer as the days fill with warmer air. A sure sign Spring is upon us. As I venture out I can see new life everywhere. Blossoms in the garden, fruit on the lime trees and insects are waking from their long winter nap. I have thoroughly enjoyed my wanderings with my camera and have seen, heard and been a party to many wonderful things.
Life is wonderous indeed.

I went for an early morning walk. I find it amazing what you can find not far from where you live, I am so lucky to have country lanes, beautiful filtered and lots of different subject matter. I love this time of year.
It was the coldest morning I had experienced in some time. As I drove off the property my hands were still numb from scraping ice from the windshield of my car, frost covered the ground and no animals were stirring. I was off to meat Patricia and Darren who’s wedding I’m covering in October. Luckily for me the sun was out when I got to Brisbane and the sky was a glorious cobalt blue. I had met Patricia and Darren at their home some months earlier and we had talked in length about their special day, I really liked them. I left the meeting smiling. On the way home Patricia had texted me to confirm the booking, I was over the moon.
This is their engagement shoot but with a different angle, it’s shot more like a snippet of their life including all the elements that are important to these wonderful people. I can’t wait for the wedding.
Wow Cameron, you just have such a way of telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The raw honesty of your work is compelling. These aren’t images full of fakery or fluff, these are real people, real moments and real memories. This beautiful family have made the right choice in their wedding photographer. 
And not a chalkboard in sight. Lol

Continuing my love of this time of year I spent a little while out looking around the land to see what was happening. I’ve even taken to going for a walk at night, especially as we have 13 ducklings that have just hatched. Beautiful.
