It’s so windy here today I nearly gave up on shooting. The sun is out but it’s like walking around in a raging torrent, very unpleasant. The garden is in bloom and there are wonderous creatures everywhere. Yesterday I bumped into a ‘Red Kangaroo’ whilst out walking, it was quite a delight as it is rare to see them in this part of the country. There is certainly something magical about them, they look at you in such a way, almost into your soul, it was a beautiful moment. We’ve also had our fair share of Carpet Pythons making their way out of hibernation. Narell found one inside our rainwater pipe during our first big downpour in months. I’m not sure I want a surprise like that next time I try to get a drink of water. Jo Jo is settling in nicely even after eating two of Narell’s wonderful cakes that were on the sideboard cooling down. Her slobbering chops were covered in crumbs, a dead giveaway for sure. It seems she has found her place in the house.
Tomorrow I am heading off to Brisbane to shoot a beautiful families wedding celebrations which will bring a full and busy week to a conclusion.
